He Never Stops Working!

Good Morning! I was just thinking about today as we take time to celebrate Martin Luther King Day how amazing this man was. How we as a Nation get to take a day off to honor a man who never seemed to stop working for the people and for God. He once said "Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." Being that he was not only one our Nation's greatest leaders he preached the Gospel without ceasing! These words were definitely born out of The Word of God. It makes me think of our great Lord and how he is working on our behalf even as we sleep. Psalm 121:4 says "indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Aren't you glad He never takes a day off? It makes me think of the watchmen in Bible times that would do shifts to make sure someone was in the Temple worshipping and proclaiming at all hours of the night. Imagine being so caught up in Jesus you stayed up all night praying and praising! May we take time today to honor a man who worked so hard to bring us into Unity as a people laced with the love of God. We thank God for Martin Luther King and we thank God for You! ❤ Rock
