Although there are many Christian organizations in Northeast Georgia, few of them actually provide outreach services in the surrounding communities to all races, nationalities, denominations, and beliefs. Unity on a Mission is one of those few who has provided Christian services to the needy for the past six years.
Rock Shunk, her two daughters, staff, and volunteers have a service at her Ponderosa Headquarters in Hoschton every Friday night. She provides a meal, praise and worship, a sermon, altar call and prayer for those who desire it. Unity on a Mission was founded on and still operates based on the foundation of God's Word and the love of Christ.
They have also joined services with other churches to have a 7 night revival quarterly, to send the Battlefield News throughout the communities, prisons, and other countries, along with needed items to an orphanage in another country. This is only a few of the actives they do on a regular basis.
They truly have such a loving and giving heart for all people. It has been such a blessing to be able to volunteer and assist them in some of their tasks, activities, and events. They truly show the love of Christ in all their efforts for the Lord. I pray that God will continue to bless them in all the do for Him and to enlarge their territory.
