Love Is Patient...

Hey Farm To Table Fam! Hope this Monday finds you Happy, Healthy and Heavenly Minded! God is so Good! You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus! You are the head and not the tail! The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. We are going to take some time to dissect these verses over the next few The dictionary says the word patient means: "able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious." So how would we show Love by being patient? Let's look at this way, how would you picture a loving God? Would you not want God to be patient with you through your mistakes and shortcomings? Would you not want God to be gracious and merciful through your toughest and trials in life? You see, we want God to be merciful, gracious, loving and patient with us but for some reason we have trouble exhibiting those things when dealing with others. Now go back to the beginning and read the definition of being patient. Now, think about the fact that someone could literally be led to Jesus by you simply being patient when no one else in the world is. God knew our greatest weapon and asset would be Love in all its forms! Think about someone today who you struggle to have patience with and try to apply this scripture when dealing with them! Oh and I want to say today "I love you and Jesus does too!" ❤ Rock
