By now, I'm sure you've read the 3 Volumes published in The Farm to Table Series. If you haven't, I strongly recommend you stop reading this, hop over to our site store, purchase them, and read them front to back. So, my story for Volume 1 of the series started on a farm in Florida. I tell you in the book that Russ took me there 40 YEARS AGO!
Recently, the grandkids were cleaning up around outside when discovered this old engraved piece of wood (pictured). This sign is the original sign from the farm when we first moved there 40 years ago.
HOW WILD IS THAT?!
40 Years sitting around collecting dust, and it was just now uncovered in the midst of me writing a 19-volume series about my life around there....
Definitely not a coincidence at all!
Sometimes we don't want to revisit our past because we know how painful it was; we don't want to relive it...but sometimes we have to look back to see how far we've come, and to realize that God has brought us through it all. He could have left me in those tough situations, but He chose not to. Now, I'm blessed with the opportunity to be writing the stories of my journey through life to encourage others with the moral of the story that if God brought you to it, He will bring you through it, and sometimes He'll even take you back to it...just to get the Glory.
