Hey Farm To Table Fam! I hope you are gearing up for this Holy Week with Jesus on your heart and mind! Actually my main concern is that He is in your heart as well! When we think about the great sacrifice Jesus has made on our behalf, to hang on a Cross and give Himself away for our sins, it should really effect every area of our life. God has been so good to send Jesus His Son to earth to pay a cost we could not pay. You see, we have a sin debt that separated us from God because God cannot have any part of sin. Our ability to have a relationship with God has been bought and paid for by the precious blood of Jesus! That's why we celebrate Easter because the Bible says Jesus beat death, hell and the grave and rose from the dead. Jesus came to earth being born in a manger, lived 33 years as a perfect man on earth, was accused, tried and tortured for sins he did not commit. After they nailed Him to the Cross and He died they placed His body in a tomb. This is when the miraculous happened...A huge stone was placed over the tomb and then on the third day when two ladies came to anoint the body of Jesus read what the Bible says in Luke 24: 6-7 "He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again." The Bible says also in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Ok, so you might ask why is the title of this Blog, "Time, Money & The Great Sacrifice" ? You see everything we have, our time our money it all belongs to Jesus. If we could have five more minutes with a loved one who has passed we would give anything. We would pay anything to save a child that is dying or give all our time to help a spouse who has cancer. One Theologian said it this way "God bankrupted Heaven" to send His Son Jesus to give His life for us. Wow! It brings me to tears to even think of how much love that took! My friend you want to see your family forever? Your friends? You want to help people know for certain they are going to heaven? Lead them to the "Forever One." Lead them to the only One who can Save! His name is Jesus and He is Risen! ❤ Rock
